Second project: (Intro To Video?) Research present day non-American/non-“traditional” figures (World History content is easily transferred to younger level material such as The Revolutionary War, Union or POC History, etc.) and produce a video as a class (or multiple group projects depending on class size), applying team working skills while learning how to edit films.

About

Avatar This is the Education blog of tumblr user reasonedoverreaction.

I have my Associate's Degree in Business Administration and am currently working on my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Education, at UMass Boston. I am looking forward to studying for my Education credits, and graduating, in 2013. After completing my minor and figuring out the level of teaching for which I would be best suited, I plan on getting My Master's in Education.

This blog is a catch-all for ideas that I find interesting and may implement in the classroom. as well as videos and pictures that I may use in powerpoint or hang on the wall. Beyond being an archive for potential lesson plan material, this is a record of my learning process that I will use for future reflection. Dialogue and debate are always encouraged here, as I love to expand my perspectives.

Let the learning begin!

"I don't want to be right. I want to be wrong, because I don't view failure as a negative. Being wrong is the only thing that elevates me to a higher level of understanding. I don't want to be righteous; I want to be enlightened." -Classroom-Stu/Reasonedoverreaction
